After going through a daily process to determine the proper accommodation of housing in prison, Brian Kohberger is placed in a long -term restrictive dwelling where he will have to follow strict rules when it comes to bathing, time for relaxation and how to move around the facility.
Kohberger has served numerous lifelong sentences at the institution for maximum security in Idaho for the brutal killings of 2022 by Idaho University students, Kylie Gonkalvs, Xana Kernodel and Madison Mogen.
What is Brian Kohberger’s life in prison?
Kochberger, who pleaded guilty to the killings to avoid the death penalty, will be accommodated alone and spend 23 hours a day inside. He will only be able to bathe every other day and will be moved to restrictions.

Before being moved to Jros to Kuna jail, Idaho, Kohberger was placed in a “medical” placement while he went through the reception and diagnosis process (RDU) to evaluate his needs and to determine the appropriate accommodation of housing.
