A former North teacher at Ridgevil city schools

Claveland (WJW), a public school teacher in North Ridge, who pleaded guilty to her former friend, was stunned to learn on Thursday that he would be closed, despite the apparent agreement between the lawyers that he had only to face probation.

The 27 -year -old Hannah Freeman of North Ridge was charged last year for several issues of crimes, including threatening, penetration, theft and fraud with identity, but pleaded guilty at the end of June to reduce the allegations of judicial action.

Freeman was accused of appearing at Westlake’s Lee Bernson Secondary School, where the victim worked and invaded the man’s vehicle on November 7th. Freeman, who was in his own vehicle when he was facing police, said the man had invited her there.

Prosecutors said the two had met, but that they had split a few months earlier, and Freeman did not realize that the relationship was over.

Reading signs have noticed Freeman’s car in the property of Westlake City Schools 33 times in 19 days-all in the same month, according to the investigation. Prosecutors admitted that the victim had invited her there, but he told her that he did not want to see her on November 7th.

Prosecutors said Freeman had taken a backpack from the man’s car to make the man talk to her. He contained laptops, wallet and his keys to his apartment and his workplace at the school, according to the investigation.

Cuyahoga County Judge David Matthew called the situation “a bizarre breakup between two professionals.”

Freeman, who was a fourth grade teacher at Academy Ranger High Tech Academy, was put on unpaid administrative leave after his charge in November and did not return to the area, according to a spokesman for the school area. Her contract with the district expired on June 30.

“I was definitely acted by the emotion and I am sorry for the decision I made that night and I will take the steps I need to get from this incident and you will not see me again here,” Fresh court before her sentence was read on Thursday.

The lawyers have obviously agreed that Freeman will be set up for a probationary period and will be ordered to undergo mental health treatment.

But Judge Massia ordered Freeman to serve the first seven days of her 18-month trial sentence in the Kuyahoga County Prison, who seems to be a surprise to Freeman and her lawyer Michael Kinlin of Eliria.

Kinlin immediately moved to withdraw Freeman’s guilty legal basis, saying that prison time was not part of the agreed sentence.

Judge Mattia said that Kinlin did not meet him about the sentence while the case had been hanging in the last six months. Kinlin claims he could not schedule an appointment about the sentence, but admitted that he did not ask the judge for a sentence.

“I was offended that you would do the insinuation here, that I did not work enough here,” said Judge Matia. “Your bad practice is not my problem.”

Judge Mattia also ordered Freeman to be placed under house arrest – with electronic monitoring and the release of work – for the first 90 days of his sentence. In addition, she was ordered not to have contact with the victim and to undergo consultations on mental health at “healthy borders”.

Freeman was alarmed visibly before being introduced by the courtroom.
