The trial of Sean “Didi” Combs continued on Tuesday at the Federal Court in Manhattan, with more witnesses – including his former personal assistant, a male escort, who went with the name “The Punisher” and Regina Ventura, the mother of his ex -girlfriend Cassie Ventura – testifies to him in the case of sex.
Federal prosecutors say that for decades, combs have abused, threatened and forced women to participate in sexual encounters with a marathon called “offy freaks” and have used their business empire, along with weapons, abduction and arson to cover up their crimes. The 55-year-old hip-hop tycoon has been charged with sexual traffic, a racket for conspiracy and transport to join prostitution.
Combs admitted that he was not guilty. If convicted, he could face prison life.
Here are some key appearances from Tuesday’s testimony, derived from various reporters and news organizations in the courtroom, including CNN, NBC News and Washington Post.
The former assistant recalls the sock of hotel rooms with drugs and baby oil

David James, Assistant to Combs from 2007 to 2009, returned to the position of witnesses for the second day of testimony. James told the court that he would store hotel rooms with combs before arrival. They included a Louis Vuitton bag containing 25 to 30 pill bottles, medicines such as ecstasy and percosytte, baby oil, lubricants, condoms and $ 10,000 in cash.
For some supplies, such as skin care products, James was restored by Bad Boy Entertainment. But for others, such as baby oil and condoms, he is recovered by Combs security staff, who will pay him in cash from the Louis Vuitton bag. He said a drug dealer called “one stop” will often bring drugs to combs, but Kombs will occasionally ask James to get drugs for him and his friends.
James told the Court of Communication with Kombs and his personal chef, Jardan Atkinson, at the Kombs House, New Jersey. James said Kombs instructed him to submit a police report falsely that Atkinson was the aggressor and first hit the combs. But James said he did not want to file a fake police protocol, so he was walking and returned to Kombs’ home, where he lied and told his boss that the report had been submitted.
James testified that at least twice he had been ordered by Combs to take tests as a lie detector administered by a former FBI agent after Combs’ jewelry disappeared.

James also testifies to an incident at which he was ordered to drive Kombs and a security guard at 4 o’clock in the morning to Mel’s dining room in Los Angeles, who wants to stand up to the rival producer Marion “Sudge” Knight, who was spotted there. Combs were in the back seat with three pistols in his lap, James said. Knight was gone at the time they reached the restaurant.
The incident prompted James to inform that he was planning to give up.
“I was really shaken by this,” James said. “This was the first time his assistant realized that my life was in danger.”
In cross -interrogation by defense, James was asked if he had considered his journey with Combs Business or personally. James said there was a “fine line” between the two, because the personal life of Kombs and business life is so intertwined. In his testimony on Tuesday, James said that before he was hired, CEO of Bad Boy Entertainment told him: “This is the kingdom of Mr. Combs and we are all here to serve it.”
Big picture: Prosecutors hoped to use James’ testimony to establish a racketeering accusation – showing that Kombs used his business empire to facilitate his alleged crimes.
Regina Ventura, Cassie’s mother, occupies the position

Cassie Ventura’s mother, Regina Ventura, testifies to what she has witnessed during her daughter’s relationship for more than a decade with Kombs.
Under the direct interrogation of prosecutors, Regina Ventura, told an email sent to her mother in December 2011, saying that Kombs threatened to explicitly release a video on her after he learned that she was meeting Kid Cudi.
“I was physically ill,” Regina Ventura said. “I didn’t understand it; the sex tape threw me. He was trying to hurt my daughter.”
At about the same time, Regina Ventura said that Combs had contacted her, saying he wanted to recover $ 20,000 he had spent on Cassie. Regina Ventura said she was scared of her daughter’s safety and that the family had a loan for housing capital to pay $ 20,000 to the combs, which he said they owe her. She said the money was related to her without explanation a few days later.
Regina Ventura testifies that the same month Cassie showed her bruises from an alleged beating, which he took from Combs. Regina took pictures of her bruised daughter, who were shown in court.
“She was rubbed and I wanted to make sure we were remembering it,” Ventura said.
The defense did not cross Regina Ventura, and she was fired.
Big picture: Last week, Cassie Ventura spent four days at the Witness Stand, describing before the court, in the course of details of physical abuse, which she said she suffered during her relationship with Kombs. Regina Ventura spent less than an hour at the stand, confirming some key parts of Cassie’s testimony, but contributes to a little if there is new information.
Men’s escort known as “The Punisher” recalls his sexual meetings with Cassie Ventura and Combs

Shay Hayes, a former male exotic dancer whose stage name was “The Punisher,” testifies to his meetings with Cassie Ventura and Combs, including the first at the Trump International Hotel in New York. Hayes said that when he arrived at their apartment, Ventura told him that he did not want him to dance, and instead wanted him to help her create a “sexy scene” involving baby oil for her “husband” who will be in the room. Hayes said Ventura told him not to recognize her “husband”, who came in with a veil, who later realized that he was a combs.
“Ironically, I’m a fan and follow it on Instagram,” Hayes told the combs.
He said he had been paid a total of $ 2,000 in cash for this meeting and was hired by the couple for a total of eight to 12 similar interactions, which have always started with the application of baby oil and often ending with it, which has sex with Ventura. The sessions usually started around 2 in the morning or 3 in the morning, he said, continued for several days. Hayes said Combs will sometimes direct Ventura to regulate lighting or to reposition his body.
Hayes said he was experiencing increasing pressure while having sex with Ventura in front of combs, ultimately failed to introduce himself and had never been promoted. He later wrote a self-help book about erectile dysfunction called In search of freezer meatS She included a section on his experiences with Ventura and Combs, which he did not specify, given them only as a married, rich couple.
In cross -questioning from defense, Hayes said he never felt that Ventura was uncomfortable and never witnessed violence. “It seems to be consensus when it comes to me,” Hayes said.
Big picture: On the first day of the test, a different male escort describes similar dynamics during their own sexual meetings with the couple. Prosecutors want to show the jurors that there were witnesses to the control that Combs had had over Ventura to participate in the “freaks” – including the male companions who paid to join them.
Federal Agent Details

Gerard Gannon, a federal agent who led the attack in 2024 at the Miami home in Miami, also testified on Tuesday.
Ganon said between 80 and 90 law enforcement agents participated in the search for a 20,000 square meter residence. Some agents were positioned on boats to potentially capture anyone trying to leave the property through direct access to water in the Combs property.
The special agent told the court that he was ready to face Kombs’ armed bodyguards. And a vehicle was used to drill through the front gate, which Gannon said it was a “standard practice”.
Gannon said demand was deliberately done after Combs had left for a planned trip with his family.
“We thought it was best to wait while he and his family were leaving,” he said.
During demand, agents detect underwear, high heels, baby oil, personal lubricant and AR-15 rifles in the Combs closet, Gannon said. The serial numbers were scratched by firearms, the special agent said.
Big picture: As a special agent, he testifies to the security measures surrounding one of his properties, it seems that prosecutors emphasize that the seriousness of the accusations is facing.
