New York (Reuters) -Fourth months in the second term of President Donald Trump, market observers have signaled from his attachment to condening slogans in catchy cuts such as Mag, Dog and created several of their own, which is distributed in the Commercial Burea.
Even those abbreviations that do not directly reflect a specific trading strategy still capture factors that traders say are important in the Trump era markets, such as instability and insecurity that investors should take into account when making decisions.
Some of the new labels are related to investment strategies that aim to take advantage of Trump’s economic and commercial policies and the goals of international relations. Others abandon the economic consequences or its abrupt turns, as markets and commercial partners respond to its proposals.
The Trump Trade, which plays on the topic of Make America Great, as a result of his victory in the November elections and taking office in January and contributed to the records of Maximums of Wall Street in February, it is hardly discussed that the shares, the bonds for the dollars and the treasures are borne by the bonds.
“After the election, we heard a lot about Yolo (you only live once), which seemed to encourage huge risks to a concentrated investment theme,” says Art Hogan, a strategist in B. Riley Wealth.
Yolo is an abbreviation used to describe the trend that was part of this Trump trade to pursue high -speed strategies such as cryptocurrency. “While the term yolo was popular for a period of time, it contradicts all traditional tips,” Hogan said.
Here are some more abbreviations they have played in the investment world in recent weeks:
** taco (Trump always chickens), the one created by the columnist of the Financial Times, was used as a way of describing Trump to deal with Trump for tariffs as a result of his speech on “Liberation Day”. Mega Hats, who seasoning their MAGA colleagues, is easily purchased online, it is revived by investors and traders in the light of the superiority of European shares in the immediate rates of Trump’s “Liberation Day” tariffs.
