Columbus, Ohio (WCMH)-A coveted park with “One of a kind of waterless slides” is already welcoming the thrill seekers to their first location in Ohio in Columbus.
Slick City Action Park is now open to 1170 Polaris Parkway near Polaris Fashion Place after starting on Monday. The 35,000 square meter Columbus park is home to 15 waterless slides from the Slick Slide portfolio, a series of slides that use “own slide surface technology to generate experience like that of the water slider at their speed and performance”, according to the company’s website.

“Slick City is a Family Fun Center, it is made for all ages,” Sam Ilif, General Manager at the location of Columbus. “We have patent technology to cover the slides, pair this with the slide mats that we give our guests to use, and this combo adds this smoothness to the slide and allows you to get that speed while you decrease.” Watch a previous NBC4 report on Slick City in a video player above.

The new location in Ohio is one of several smooth city is a development throughout the country, with parks already open in Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Texas and Wisconsin.
“We are incredibly proud to open our first place in Ohio in North Columbus and introduce families, teenagers, and shivers of all ages of our only inyless slides and engaging attractions,” Bron Lonesby, CEO of Slick City, said in a statement. “This is a new type of entertainment park created to move, inspire and Wow guests over and over again.”

Tickets for guests aged 4 and more can be purchased online for $ 28.99 per person in 90 minutes and $ 33.99 in 120 minutes. Slick City also offers junior tickets for age 3 and under $ 16.99. All participants are required to wear Citysock, which can be purchased on a $ 4.99 site.
Slick City also has a cafe, an arcade and a programming composition, such as some dinners for adults, family day, social schools in the home and after hours. Guests will also soon be able to book their parties and group events at Columbus’ location.

Slick City Columbus is open from 10:00 to 8:30 pm from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 11pm Saturday and from 11am to 8:30 pm Sunday.

The slide park opened inside a former bed, bathroom and beyond. The permit to the city of Columbus last fall revealed that the renovation of Slick City costs $ 500,000 to build a “indoor space”, including “modification of existing toilets, expansion of mezzanine, office of new managers, kitchen area and concessions installed by suppliers.”
