The campsite is now one of the most resistant ways to go on vacation, but designers in the Netherlands have done things even more.
BBC Travel reporter Rob Bell had the opportunity to tour the world’s first solar energy camper, Stella Vita, created by Solar Team Eindhoven.
This camper is completely driven by solar energy and can be reloaded without having to get involved in EV charging stations, making road trips and adventures really boundless.
Conceptualized in 2020, Stella Vita is a self -supporting house on wheels including shower, toilet, cooking area, sleeping area and ghostly sunny roof with elongated panels for extra sunny surface.
“The vehicle generates enough solar energy to drive, shower, watch TV, load your laptop and make coffee,” the company wrote in a Facebook post about the innovative Campervan.
While it is a nice, sunny day, the car will recharge while driving or stopping to take a coffee or lunch, ensuring that you always have enough range to get to where you go. This constant loading helps to overcome the fear that some of them have, that EV will exhaust its long -distance travel range, also known as anxiety of the range.

“So how many kilometers can it go, maximum?” asked Bell.
“Approximately, one sunny day in the Netherlands is about 750 kilometers (466 miles),” replied Bob from Stella Vita.
This is an impressive range, even surpassing that of new electric vans.
The maximum range of the electric vehicle from the health of the vehicle’s battery is partly determined. Because the electric vehicle (EV) withstands regular wear, the battery loses efficiency and performance may suffer.

Monitoring your battery health can give you a good idea of the maximum range of your vehicle as well as the estimated value of the EV used.
The data on the used EV market found that the EV sales used increased by 63% since 2023 to 2024, emphasizing consumers’ desire to find affordable ways to join the movement of clean energy.
The EV used is not only better for the environment than conventional gas vehicles due to zero pollution of the pipe, but EVS also provides car owners with routine maintenance and fuel savings. Due to less moving parts and electric motor, EV does not require traditional changes in oil or other liquids and they do not require fuel up – simple recharge.
Although they are still mostly conceptual, sunny EVS, such as Solar Campervan Stella Vita, do not need permanent recharge attachments that would make EV even better.
But EV owners can still benefit from the benefits of Solar offering. Charging your EV at home with solar energy is more cheaper than using public stations to charge or read the power grid.
With government stimuli available to solar panels, you can enjoy even more savings with EV property and installing solar energy in your home. Energysage offers a free tool to help homeowners compare offers from tested local solar installers that can save homeowners up to $ 10,000 for new projects.
Sun EVS, such as Stella Vita, could change the future of transport and travel.
“This is even more sustainable, even more independent and just a more effective way of traveling,” the Stella Vita team said.
