“” Until death split us “may be earlier than expected, she was afraid.
The UK teacher fears that her honeymoon flight may be her last, as the airline has sworn to continue serving nuts, despite her deadly allergy.
“I thought the Qatar Airways would be more understanding and accommodating allergies,” said the 27 -year -old Bethani Rhodes to Kennedy News and the media. “This is life or death for me.”
Kent -born suffers from a severe allergy to air nuts from the age of 4, but did not think it would be a problem while planning his honeymoon this year.

The roads and her partner at the age of nine, Connor Burns, 29 – whom she would marry in August – had booked the trip of her life in Tanzania and Zanzibar. The total price for the trip was estimated at about $ 13,000.
“This is a dream destination for us,” she threw. “This is something we both wanted to do a long time ago.”
To ensure that her “special” vacation passed smoothly, the roads reached to Qatar Airlines to warn them of her allergy to nuts, which can cause anaphylactic shock – a severe reaction that can stop the breathing of the sufferer or heart rate.
She asked the carrier to make a “message,” she told Kennedy News, but told her she was told she couldn’t “guarantee she would be 100% safe.”
“When in the past I have been on flights, they have always said that all kinds of nuts will not be sold and informed passengers, have made messages. I have never had a problem before,” says the roads, in the photo with his fiancé, Connor Burns, 29.
Despite the potential danger, the airline was unable to comply with its request.
“I said,” If you can’t make a message, can I do my own? “And they told me on the phone if I would have it a chance to be expelled from the flight to go against their policies,” says the “shocked” Briton. “They said they would still serve them, knowing that I could get into anaphylaxis. They said it would not be deliberate around me.”
The roads said that Qatar Airways, in the exchange of messages shared with Kennedy Media, suggested that as a precautionary measure for his own “safety”, the teacher should make sure that he would bring epipy and use a “hand disinfectant, wipes and appropriate medicines,” she said.
“Inform the allergy associate, a window request or rear request and avoid contact with allergens,” Qatar Reps added. “However, requests are not guaranteed and would be subject to availability.”

The roads believed that their answer would be deliberately exposed to her life at risk.
“They know about the allergy and they choose to do it anyway,” she said. “There is a risk of dying with anaphylaxis, even with two episters with me.”
The distracted teacher added: “One person ignores a message and continues to eat a bag of nuts is very different from them, which gives nuts to 300 people per plane.”
The traveler was particularly horrified because she said she was in the past, where the understanding of crew members announced that they would not give away nuts because of her condition.
The roads have even been considering completely de -scraping the honeymoon as it was not worth the risk.
“Travel cancellation is definitely something we should take into account,” the teacher said. “People don’t understand what air allergy is.”
The roads have declared that the carrier has a “legal requirement” to ensure that there is a safe flight, saying: “The safety of passengers is intended to be their biggest priority, but what they tell me is the opposite of it.”
Since then, a spokesman for the carrier has addressed the incident in a statement in which they repeated the policy of allergy of their company.
“We are doing our best to accommodate passengers with the needs of the allergy,” the representative told Kennedy News, citing guidance. “But since our flights are open to society, we cannot guarantee an allergen environment.”
They added: “Qatar Airways allergy policy” is available online and we thank MS Roads for informing us of its circumstances. Our customer care team is in direct contact with it. “
The policy further provides that passengers “are responsible for carrying all the necessary medicines with them on board” and that “may be required to sign a refusal of responsibility”.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time Qatar Airways has been accused of not taking into account someone’s refusal to allergy to nuts.
The sufferer of allergy to Amy Pearson nuts thought he would die after two airlines gave peanuts on a 14-hour trip last year, although he informed them in advance of his allergy.
