New York has four of the most healthy cities in the country, reveals a new study published by Wallethub. Rochester, Buffalo, Yonkers and New York have made a list that compares more than 180 of the most populated cities in the United States in 41 key indicators ranging from medical visits to consumption of fruits and vegetables.
“To stay healthy is a personal responsibility and everyone should strive to eat nutritional food, to exercise regularly and to care for their mental health,” says Wallethub Chip Lupo analyst.
The most healthiest cities in New York
While Rochester is known for its garbage dishes, accumulated high with countless combinations of more traditional macaroni and hot dog salad, to some options outside the box such as banana peppers and scrambled eggs, how healthy is the city city? According to Wallethub, he is doing pretty well. Rochester received a total score of 54.03, putting it in the 40th place in the list. According to the study, the city received a nutritional assessment of 33, a green space assessment of 16, a health estimate of 67 and a fitness result of 88.
New York took 19th place, Buffalo came to the 64th, and Yonkers followed closely behind Position No. 66.

Wallethub compares 182 cities – including 150 of the most populated cities in the United States, along with at least two of the most populated cities in each country – in four key determinants: health, food, fitness and green space.
