Just over a year after the re -opening, Jacksonville’s gastropub closed his doors sharply, saying “Unfortunately we couldn’t keep our doors open already.”
World of Beer Bar & Kitchen closed for the second time in so many years on 5105 Butler Blvd. Outside the SouthPoint Interstate 95, announcing a closure in the middle of August 15 on Facebook.
The tavern, also called WOB, and known for its extensive choice of craft beers, including many from the whole world, thanked and apologized to customers.
“With a very heavy heart, we regret to inform you that our beer location world has closed. After a little over a year of service, unfortunately we couldn’t keep our doors open more,” published World of Beer. “We thank everyone who supported us on this trip. It was a pleasure to serve everyone.”
The publication did not specify the factors that encourage the decision. Customers speculated on social media that the location of Gastropub contributes to closure.
“I enjoyed every visit there and always loved the vibration. Something about this place just doesn’t work,” a client posts on the restaurant website.
The closure comes approximately 13 months after the Tampa -based chain opened again SouthPoint Gastropub in July 2024 with a new franchisee and a new head of the head.
