In an interview with a freezing prison, the man accused of a terrible, religiously motivated murder of a beloved pastor in Arizona said he had committed the crime and revealed that he had a wider list of religious leaders he intended to kill during his murderous rage.
Adam Christopher Shiff, 51 -year -old, said A real crime Arizona On Monday, he crucified 76-year-old Pastor William Shoneman, known in the community as Pastor Bill, at his home in New River in April.
Shiff said the attack is part of what claims to be a divine mission for punishment of religious leaders who, in his opinion, mislead followers.
“I drove from there (Phoenix) to Bill’s house, like two in the morning on Sunday night, and I executed it,” Shiff told correspondent Briana Whitney, who was sitting beyond the table.
Shoneman was found dead in his blood -covered bed on April 28 during a well -being.

During the interview, Shiff talks about the anxious scene, which included details of a thorns crown, which he said he had done what he found in the forest and put on Shoneman’s head.
“Because what I say is that what you are preaching is not what God said,” Shiff explained. “This is the opposite of what God said.”
Shiff revealed that Shonemann was not his sole purpose. Before the murder, he said that he had followed the home of a priest after Easter services in Phoenix with the intention of killing him – the first of the 14 intended “executions” throughout the country.
“Starting in Arizona, where I was born,” Shiff said. “Where does it begin is where it ends, like the Garden of Eden.”
But he claims to have stopped this first attempt when two women unexpectedly entered the priest’s garage.
“I am not interested in performing anyone other than the pastors or shepherds who are fooled by the flock,” he said.
After killing Shoneman, Shiff said he was traveling to Sedona, where he plans to kill two more religious leaders. He will later be identified as a burglary suspect, which led to high-speed pursuit with the police in Sedona.

But Shiff escaped the capture when he disappeared after he crashed his car in another vehicle, police said. His abandoned car – found to have been stolen by Cave Creek – recovered on a nearby path.
Authorities say they have found evidence inside the car, which are reported to have tied Sheafe for the murder of a new river.
Finally, he was finally arrested several days later, during the Manhta related to the burglary. If he hadn’t caught, Shiff said he was planning to continue his murder throughout the country.
“From there it was Las Vegas, Nevada; Portland, Oregon; Seattle, Washington; Billings, Montana; Detroit, Michigan; New York, New York; Charlotte, North Carolina; Mobil, Alabama; Bomont, Texas and El Paso, Texas,” he said. “So, four of them would be hit in Arizona.”
Shiff claims that he acted in what he believes to be God’s law and that he expects to be forgiven.
He maintains that violence was not inherently, saying, “Look, it’s not my heart to go to kill people.”
Asked how he would feel if someone crucified him, Shiff replied, “Success, trying.”

“I want the death penalty because I want to show that you cannot kill the Son of God,” Shiff said. “The whole story is bs”
When Whitney said that executions often take years, Shiff replied: “Well, I want to be executed quickly so that we can get this show on the road and show what exactly I am trying to do … All you have to do is worship Jesus and you go to heaven; your sins are forgiven.”
Asked if he believes that God will forgive His sins, Shiff replied, “Absolutely he will forgive my sins. He is a forgiving God and loves God.”
Whitney caused this logic: “How is this justified? I mean if you kill someone or many people – try how it works?”
“This is an order to raise Israel from evil,” Shiff replied.
Whitney said she was likely to spend the rest of her life in prison, Shiff said, “That’s what you think.”
Sheafe remains behind bars in the Kokonino County Prison and is expected to be extradited to Maricopa County. The allegations associated with the murder of Shoneman are hanging.
