A backpack missing 12 days in the remote Australian outback has been found alive, police confirmed.
On Friday, July 11, Police in Western Australia (WA) confirmed on Facebook on Facebook that Carolina Wilga, at 26, from Germany – has been in the last two years throughout the country – it has been “Safety and Good” in the Wheatbelt area.

Wilga has not been seen or heard from June 29, after being spotted arriving at a shop in the small town of Beacon, about 200 miles east of Perth, about 12:10 local time in her van. She left for the area about five minutes later and has not been heard since, police said earlier.
WA Police Inspector Martin Glin said on Friday that Wilga was found walking along the bush track at the end of the Karroun Hill Nature Reserve by a public member, according to the Australian ABC Corporation (ABC).
“She is already on the way to a hospital in Perth for some medical care,” he told reporters at a media conference, “the shop noted.
