Gilgo beach killings suspected Rex Heerman’s wife makes a bizarre recognition of her first visit to prison

In an interview with the forthcoming Peacock series, which focuses on the crimes of her husband accused of, Elerp described it as her “hero”.

She also claims that police have received the “wrong man”, seemingly suggesting that Rex Heerman is not to blame for the murder of seven Long Island sex workers for nearly three decades.

It has been nearly two years since Rex Heerman was arrested for the first time in connection with the killings of the cold case of three young sexual workers and later accused of the death of four additional victims, who were also sexual workers.

As part of a police investigation, several evidence was found to associate the Manhattan architect to the crimes, including DNA coincidence with the victims and newspaper clippings for the killings.

What many now considers an open -ended case is considered by the wife of the accused, Ace Elerp, in order to be a case of wrong identity.

Speaking of a bomb interview in the upcoming Paud series “The Gilgo Beach, the House of Secrets”, the 61-year-old boldly claims that her “wonderful” husband is not capable of the crimes she has been charged with.

“I know what bad men can do,” she said in a clip from the show (through New York Post). “I’ve seen it and heard it from other men. Not my husband. You have the wrong person.”

In the interview, Electo also spoke with love for her husband and thought about some of the moments they spent together before his arrest.

“He is my hero,” she told Heerman. “There were times when he worked, but I would call him and he would come and take me.”

The 61-year-old also recalled that she visited him in prison and how her first visit to prison came with mixed feelings of excitement and nervousness.

“I haven’t seen him all this time, and when I got off there, I was excited and as if I were, I don’t know, I guess at the first date. You’re nervous, you are afraid. You don’t know how it will go,” said Elerp.

Since then, according to reports, these visits have become more common, about once a week. According to the mother of two, however, she is afraid of being truly open to him because of her paranoia that their conversations can be recorded.

Elter in the interview, Eleter described her husband as a dedicated family man, contrary to the story, who painted him as a serial killer.

“I don’t believe he has done this. I don’t see what everyone else is saying. I don’t see phone calls to sex workers,” she said. “I lifted him out of the station every day. He was home here during the weekends. He smokes a cigar in the garage.”

Eiro continued: “If he told me he went out to Lowe to take something and he wasn’t for an hour, it’s not a great way for that person to issue sex from a sex worker, kill them and throw them on the Gilgo Beach.”

Although Heerman may be confronted with a life sentence, if convicted, Eleler remains hope that everything will eventually work out.

“I want him to return home to me,” the mother said. “They try to sit there and tell me this, but I have no knowledge of what they continue to talk about.” Oh, you must have known. “Do you know what?

She added: “He is a family man, a period.”

Date is yet to be determined for Rex Heerman’s test

The murders that Howerman was accused of occurring between 1993 and 2010, with their bodies being discovered along the Ocean Parkway in December 2010.

He was originally accused of killing Amber Costello, Melissa Barteleley and Megan Waterman, and later by the death of four more victims: Maureen Brand-Barks, Sandra Kostila, Jessica Taylor and Valerie Mack.

Heerman admitted that he was not guilty of all the accusations, a move that suggests that he was determined to fight for his innocence.

So far, a test date is yet to be set, and Heerman remains in detention at Riverhead’s correctional facility in Suffolk County, New York.
