Booker read letters he received from voters and talks about health care, housing, social security and other benefits programs, free speech, public education system, life costs and the role of the United States on the world stage.
When he opens his speech on Monday night, Booker said, “These are not normal times in our nation. And they should not be treated as such in the Senate of the United States.”
