Lila Bonner’s body, one of the young camps who disappeared after the last floods in Texas, found that her family confirmed to people.
“Lila’s family James Bonner is a broken heart to confirm the news of his loss,” a statement said on Saturday, July 5th.
“We hurt with all who loved her and pray that others will be spared by this tragic loss,” they added.

Lila was among more than 20 camps that disappeared from Camp Mystic, a Christian summer camp near the Guadalupe River in Kerr County, after a catastrophic floods on Friday, July 4th. The floods in the river made him reach his second highest level so far, according to ABC News.
Lila is staying in the same cabin as his colleague Eloan Peck, who is currently gone, according to New York Post.
Jenny Hunt’s family, another young camper, confirmed his death in a statement to people, sharing, “We’re devastated.”

“I thank all our friends and family for all the prayers and work,” he wrote along with a photo of his late niece. “Renee was found, and although not the result we were praying for, social media information probably helps the first answers to help identify it so quickly.”

Previously, KSAT reported that after the flood there was an evacuation of a Mystic bearing.
In a statement on July 4, Texas Governor Greg Abat said that the state “provides all the necessary resources to Kerville, Ingram, Hunt and the whole country of Texas Hill, which deals with these devastating floods.”

“The Texas Du today mobilizes additional resources in addition to the resources sent in the preparation for storms,” he continued. “I urge the Texas to comply with the management of state and local employees and to monitor local forecasts to avoid driving in flooded areas.”
People turned to the Kcso County Sheriff’s office to update other missing camps.
In the last update, the authorities said more than 850 people were rescued after the floods and 32 people were confirmed dead, Reuters.
