A judge at Illinois has rejected a demand to reduce the “buffer zone” between a married teacher and a teenager who has been accused of sexual assault over 50 times.

Formela was originally charged with a census of criminal sexual assault and two accusations of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
In June, prosecutors printed tens more, blaming it with 55 common points, including “unknown sexual abuse and attack on the student,” Berlin said in a press release on June 17th.
Prosecutors say sexual abuse began in January 2023, when the boy was 14 and continued in August/September 2024, Berlin said.

Prosecutors claim that Formela has retained a “memoir” in the app for notes on her phone, in which she describes her apparent anger to the teenager, including writings, who claim that the boy “has cheated on me.”
“We’ll never be together again,” Formela writes. “I’m not a second choice. I am the best thing you will ever have with all your mistakes.”

Formela has ever denied having sex with the teenager.
Her lawyer did not respond to the people’s request for comment.
The charges against Formela “are out of disturbing,” Berlin said on June 17th.
It is envisaged that Formella will return to court on August 4, 2025.
