It is no secret that the use of artificial intelligence is becoming more and more in academics.
But while most prefer to preserve their school aids for AI confidential, a student at the University of California, Los Angeles, brags that he was hiring technology during his start ceremony.
The shocking moment was filmed during the Livestream Livestream in Pauli’s pavilion earlier this month, but since then the videos have been transformed into Instagram and X, where millions of views have accumulated.

These fears were also echoed on Reddit. “This will be the biggest problem,” Frettled One Poster. “People just will no longer learn anything instead of an instrument to help you learn that people will just think it’s a magic answer box.”
However, some defenders applauded MAI for a seeming system play with one X fan writing: “Hot Take Chatgpt and AI are tools that will be with us for a good or bad for the foreseeable future.”
“So proving that they can effectively use the tools that he should have achieved what is required of him is not cheating,” they added. “This proves that he will be able to produce similar results in the real world.”
May, who is also a DJ, addressed the virus moment on an Instagram video, explaining: “You may know me from this viral video from graduation today. I want to let you know what is really on my computer screen.”
In the publication, which was restored from the official Chatgpt page, Tech Whiz explained that he used a chatbot to help with two sophisticated finals, one of which is to come at 5:00 pm and the other at midnight.

Nevertheless, Techperts remain concerned about the ubiquitous AI in the classroom. According to a winter study by the Pew Research Center, approximately 26% of teenage students used AI chatbot to help them with tasks in 2024 – by only 13% in 2023.
Unfortunately, using Chatgpt to perform jobs can potentially make people sink in the long run.
