A common hack to save money from Ryanair that appeared in a couple.
Scott McCormick and his girlfriend Helena Boswick, both 33 -year -olds, had to fly from Birmingham airport in the UK to Palma de Mallorca, Spain. In an attempt to save money, the couple decided not to pay for booking places in the flight.
“My partner and I thought this was not such a big problem, if we were not sitting together for a two -hour flight, we are adults here,” McCormick, owner of fitness, told Kennedy News.
They were first on the line to get up when a staff member asked them to retreat while the other passengers got on board.
“This moment was a red flag, I thought,” Something happens here, “McCormick said. “I asked her to tell us what would happen and she said” No. “
After everyone else was on the plane, Ryanair’s employees were supposed to be told that the flight was full and only one place remained.
McCormick admitted that the two had a “collapse” because they wanted to travel together – but they were told they were in this position because they “did not keep a place.”
“There was no compassion or care. After we returned to the back, we said that we would not take separate flights and be in separate countries for hours,” he said.
After arguing with the staff, the couple was told that they could enter the next flight and be restored for both tickets.

But when they went to the registration desk again, they were informed that they would still have to pay for one of the tickets-they claim that the refund was never issued.
“We got off the ticket sales and they said we still had to pay for one ticket, only one was restored. One of the seats was placed as an canceled reservation and the other was missed, so we would still have to pay for one place and be recovered for the other,” McCormick said.
“This is the biggest part of [issue]We were just lied to the gate, but then we still sold us a place and we have not yet seen any signs of recovery. “

The couple are reported to have spent more money on the new ticket and waited four hours for the next flight, and McCormick claims to feel like “discrimination”.
“Ryanair had to ask all passengers if anyone would like to participate voluntarily in their seats,” he said.
“… How do these people choose because we are young and have no children, so there are only two of us, in common, is something we do not see or understand?”

He said that in the future he would avoid flying Ryanair due to lack of care and empathy. “You can get rid of your eyes and they just don’t care, they’re dead.”
While some people on social media believed that they were expelled that they did not book places-developed the so-called hack, that this would lead to a lower aircraft-Lyanair explained that it was because the plane itself was switched to one with fewer places.
