The couple was “caught in the act” in the middle of an Italian restaurant.
A man and a woman had dinner at the San Marino Restaurant in the northwest of England last Saturday when they were seen on a camera planting glass in eating before refusing to pay.
The woman complained to the restaurant about a sharp object in her pasta, claiming that this “almost broke” her veneers.

They are said to have refused to pay the bill of $ 139, trying to receive compensation and then left the restaurant, The Sun reports.
The family ordered pasta from Penne San Marino, lamb Shisko kebab, garlic bread, caesar salad, fixed water, sparkling water and coca-cola.

“They had almost finished their food when the lady called one of the staff and said she had found a piece of glass on her food, which was in her mouth, and almost broke her veneer teeth for which she had paid thousands of pounds,” says Mazra Yolku, managing director of the restaurant.
CCTV footage revealed that all Fiasco is probably a fraud, with the staff claiming that the video shows that the man pulls a glass of glass from his pocket and handed it to the woman to put in his napkin.
The woman can be seen to put some of her food in the napkin with the glass before calling an employee.
“She just put it on the table on a piece of napkin and pretended to be in her mouth,” Yolku said.

“Everyone was shocked. The staff were worried and called the manager who came and asked what had happened. They said they would not pay for that meal,” he explained. “The manager said,” I’m sorry it just didn’t happen, it’s impossible to find glass in the food. It’s not a glass we use in the kitchen. “
Yolku said he had been sent a picture of the glass in question and he immediately knew that this was not the right type of glass. “Before I say it, they no longer paid.”
“These types of fraud are harmful to small, hardworking businesses like ours,” San Marino told Facebook on the video.

Yolku said the incident was reported to police in Cheshire, who confirmed that they were investigating the situation.
“At 1 morning on Sunday, April 6, police received reports of theft/fraud at a restaurant in Vidnes,” said a police spokesman in Cheshire. “The caller reported that three customers had left the premises without paying for a meal after claiming to find a piece of broken glass in their eating.”
“After reviewing CCTV footage, the caller is believed to have been placed in the diet by customers. Inquiries regarding the question are in the early stages.”

Yolku said everything looked good when the food was originally delivered and the table began to eat.
“It was shocking to see the CCTV footage. They were with their daughter, but they were not ashamed. They were not booked and just came and said they needed something to get better, so we gladly showed them a table,” Yolku said.
“They are experienced. She was looking at the cameras around,” he said. “They did not pay for the food, but there was no compensation. We received this at CCTV, so we would not pay them a penny.”

The first time something similar happened at the restaurant, Yolku did research and received advice on what to do in these situations.
“This does not happen as often, but it causes great stress on staff. This is a serious accusation that may include police, environmental health and cause any problems in the business. This can be harmful to the restaurant’s reputation,” Yolku said.
“You have to be really calm. Before more, you have to say,” I have to look at the camera and call the police. ” If they are serious, they will check these things and if they are not, they will be shocked and if they do, they will really be scared, “he added.
